Golden Village Christmas to offer silent basket auction

Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville, will host Golden Village Christmas from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. December 4.

The event will include a silent auction of themed gift baskets, reported executive director Corrine Becker.

The Heritage Arts Center Gift Shoppe and Tavern Cafe will be open. Ye Olde Bake Shoppe will be just inside the back door, selling delicious home-made cakes, candy, breads, pies and cookies, all made by the Tavern volunteers.
