IRVINGTON—Julie Harris, a fifth generation Irvingtonian, has announced her campaign for election to mayor of Irvington in the November 2 election.
Her grandfather was a waterman and a builder and built many houses in the area, said Harris. Her grandmother was a teacher in Irvington. Her great-great grandfather was the first Methodist minister in Irvington and presently two more generations of her family live on family property here.
