St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will continue its series of four worship services from prayer books around the world with a service from the Prayer Book of Kenya at 9 a.m. Sunday, September 9.
“Our parishioners loved worshipping with the New Zealand Prayer book when we did the first service in this series,” said the Rev. Lucia Lloyd.
“It was fun,” said parishioner John Hodge. “You also pay attention in a new way when it’s something new and different. It was good to try something different and to have the experience of the worldwide Anglican Church.”
The four international worship services are once a month for four months. Other services in the series will include worship from the Prayer Book of Scotland on October 14, followed by refreshments featuring traditional Scottish food and the Prayer Book of India on November 11…
