IRVINGTON—The Irvington Town Council continued to hear concerns regarding its performance from the public during the January 14 meeting.
Resident and planning commission member Chris Braly voiced his concerns to town council during the public comment section of the meeting.
“It is obvious to everyone who pays an ounce of attention that town council is dysfunctional to say the least. As a group, you do not respect each other and you do not work together. You spend time at meetings bickering with each other about issues that are not pertinent to the discussion at hand,” said Braly.
While serving on the commission, he said he has come to know each council member as reasonable and capable individuals but is dismayed at how they have acted as a group over the past several months.
