JV Red Devils are young and well rounded

The Lancaster High School junior varsity baseball team is young but enthusiastic, according to coach Will Barrack.

“In fact, this is probably the youngest JV team [Lancaster] has had in the four years I’ve been coaching,” said Barrack. “But Zac [Stevens] and I both agree, they play together better than a lot of teams I’ve had and with a lot of teamwork. They may be young but they have a lot of fire.”

The JV Devils have gotten off to a 2-1 start with wins over Middlesex and West Point. Lancaster split games in a double header with the Pointers on March 23, winning the first game, 15-5, in a four-inning slaughter and losing the second, 11-4…
