King William High School won both the girls and boys races on Wednesday, October 16, at a cross country meet on the trail at Hills Quarter near Kilmarnock.
The Cavaliers boys team had all five scorers finish in the top 10 for a low 31 points to win the four-school meet. Host Lancaster was second with 54 points; West Point third, 60; and Northumberland fourth, 85.
Although Thomas Agnew of West Point ran the race in 18:45, nearly 20 seconds faster than runner-up Trent Mace of King William, the Pointers finished third.
The Cavaliers had runners place two, five and seven through nine for the low score.
