The Lady Devils have gotten off to a 2-0 start this season, picking up wins over Middlesex and Northampton in varsity girls softball.
Riley Molineaux hit a three-run home run, her first in her high school career, to open up a one-run lead in last Friday’s 17-6 five-inning win over the Lady Chargers in Saluda.
Molineaux, Wilson Throckmorton and Maddie Davis each scored in the first for LHS before homestanding Middlesex put up two in its first at-bat to keep it close. Molineaux’s shot over right center scored three, including Rachel Valdrighi and Katherine Thomas, to give Lancaster a 6-2 lead en route to the slaughter-rule win…
