LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, May 3, with the Hon. Steven S. Smith presiding.
Bennie T. Lee of Heathsville, was arraigned on charges of a felony for eluding/disregarding police, a felony for possession of a Schedule I/II substance, a misdemeanor for driving on a suspended license, and nine misdemeanors for shoplifting/altering merchandise less than $200. A trial is scheduled for June 14.
In the case of Benjamin A. Wilson of Lancaster, charged with six felonies for shooting a firearm from a vehicle, a trial was scheduled for July 12.
In the case of Brian L. Brooks of Water View, charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor for violating probation, an arraignment was continued and a trial is to be set June 3.
In the case of Joshua S. Meador, no address given, charged with three felonies for violating probation, a status hearing was continued by defense motion and scheduled for July 12.
