Lancaster County Circuit Court Report

LANCASTER—Judge R. Michael McKenney convened Lancaster County Circuit Court on March 9.

A felony stolen vehicle and destruction of property case against Dawn Marie Clarke of Sandston was dismissed.

Cases against Neal Elliott Sluss of Chesapeake on four charges of felony destruction of property and failing to appear, were dismissed after all conditions were satisfied and restitution paid in full. A show cause was nolle prosequi.

A case against Tyrone Michael Waddy of Burgess, charged with felony probation violation, was continued to July 20 on a motion by defense.

Misdemeanor charges against Deante Verdel Jones of Kilmarnock, for assault and battery of a family member and violation of probation were nolle prossed by Commonwealth’s Attorney Jan Smith.

Joshua Tyler Williams of Mathews was given an eight month active sentence for stealing a credit card and receiving stolen goods, both felonies, and ordered to pay court costs of $898. He was granted work release.

Joshua Evan Luckett of Saluda, did not appear in court for arraignment on two felony charges of failure to appear. The case was set for April 6.

Dexter O’Neil Sutton of Heathsville, charged with three misdemeanors of assault and battery of a family member, and two charges of destruction of property and disconnecting a phone line, was set for trial on June 8.

Stephen Anthony Via of Church Road, charged with misdemeanor purchasing alcohol for minors, dumping trash on private property and public intoxication, was set for trial on April 6.

Destiny Curry of Kilmarnock, charged with two misdemeanors for contempt of court, was set for trial March 23. Her attorney did not appear in court.
