LANCASTER— Judge R. Michael McKenney convened Lancaster County Circuit Court on April 20 to hear the following cases.
Floyd Donovan Newton of Callao was arraigned on a felony probation violation. Trial was set for June 1.
Oriel Purchell Lee of Lancaster was charged with felony probation violation. The case was continued on a motion by Commonwealth’s Attorney Jan Smith.
Maria F. Thompson was back in court on probation violation of misdemeanor and felony convictions. The case was continued on a motion by defense. The case will be reviewed June 1.
Samantha Renee Ellis of Warsaw was arraigned on felony probation violations. The defendant was arrested on a capias. A request for a change of attorney resulted in a continuance until April 27, when a trial date will be set.
Keywon Maquee Gaskins of Kilmarnock appeared for sentencing on felony conviction for distribution of a controlled substance. The case was taken under advisement and was continued to May 25.
The trial of Matthew Gregory Steven of Farnham for felony failure to report an accident and misdemeanor reckless driving, was continued over the objection of the Commonwealth’s Attorney. The case is set for June 1.
The arraignment of Curtis Marcell Mitchell of King George on several felony charges of distribution of Schedule I/II drugs was continued to April 27.
