Director Jacqueline Allen and the cast of The 39 Steps: A Live Radio Play are in rehearsal for the Lancaster Players’ upcoming production.
Together, they will work to bring to life a story of espionage, murder, plot twists and romance in the style of Alfred Hitchcock, reported community relations coordinator Karen V. Stanley. Presented as a 1940s radio broadcast, the play’s cast includes a sound effects team and a group that sings advertising jingles.
The radio actors are Catherine Curtis, David Gutowski, Don Kenefick, Geoffrey King and Karen King.
