Lancaster Primary School reads 1,043 books in the first 100 days

On February 16, Lancaster Primary School reading interventionist Christa Dameron challenged students to read 100 books by the 100th day of school, March 11.

Students were encouraged to read at home and at school, and they could email Dameron the titles of the books that they read and could earn Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) points for their participation, she said.

Meanwhile, Dameron kept a running tally of total books read, as well as the total number of books read for each class and….
