During the 2018-19 school year, Lancaster Primary School participated in a statewide campaign called American Evolution 1619-2019 Commemoration School.
This initiative dove into educating students in understanding Virginia history, past, present and future, with an overarching emphasis on democracy, diversity and opportunity, reported principal Michael J. Dadario.
