Miles Hollingsworth, a 2022 graduate of Chesapeake Academy (CA), was presented the Excellence in Arts Award during commencement exercises in June.
Established in 2006, Excellence in the Arts Awards are given at the discretion of the school’s visual and performing arts team to specific students excelling in aspects of the fine and performing arts at the school’s commencement exercises, said head of school Julianne Duvall. The award is given to a student who shows a deep dedication to developing artistic skills, giving their all to the arts in and out of the classroom.
