HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, April 13, with the Hon. William H. Shaw III presiding.
Keenan L. Samuel of Newport News pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated, third-plus offense in 10 years, felony driving with a suspended or revoked license, and misdemeanor drinking while driving, and was convicted. Sentencing was set for May 4.
In the case of Christian P. Lyons of Urbanna, charged with two counts of misdemeanor probation violation on a misdemeanor offense, one charge was nolle prossed and a previous suspension of sentence was revoked on the other. Lyons was sentenced to six months of incarceration.
