HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened September 10, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
A review of the case of Tyrell O. Brown of Hague, charged with one felony for violating his probation on a felony offense, was continued to November 19.
Tyrese D. Samuel of North Chesterfield pleaded guilty to two felonies including one count for discharging a firearm in or at an occupied building and one count for possession of a gun by a nonviolent felon within 10 years of his conviction. Sentencing is scheduled October 15. Three other misdemeanor charges against Samuel, including one count for reckless handling of a firearm, one count for concealing a weapon without a concealed carry license and one count for brandishing a firearm, were continued to October 15.
