The Rappahannock Pistol and Rifle Club hosted a shotgun match October 7 as part of the Championship Series to declare a club champion.
The shotgun match combined 25 shots of traditional trap and 25 wobble trap, reported Mike Loser.
Traditional trap uses a set trajectory for all shots from different positions, whereas wobble trap adds a lateral dimension to the trajectory, he said.
Winners were first, Ned O’Keefe; second, Steve Callis by a tiebreaker; and third, Urey Patrick.
