Peace Corps volunteers to visit Sundays at Two

The Lancaster Community Library Sundays at Two on February 5 will host Bill and Carolyn Young of Irvington. The Youngs will share their experiences with “The Peace Corps as a Second (Third) Career.” The presentation will begin at 2 p.m. at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.

Bill and Carolyn Young are intrepid explorers and lifelong learners. He was an Air Force dependent and she was a Foreign Service dependent, so both traveled extensively before they met at Vanderbilt University.

After they married in 1970, B. Young completed his flight training and received his Naval Aviation wings in 1971. Together they moved over 20 times….
