Peggy Garland speaks at Spring Author Event

The Richmond County Public Library Friends of the Library (FOL) held their Spring Author Event on Thursday, March 5, at St. Johns Church in Warsaw.

Following a delightful and delicious luncheon prepared by the Ladies of St. Johns Church, the FOL were pleased to have author Peggy Garland discussing her debut novel, Never Pleasing to the World: A Man and His Slaves, a fictionalized biography of wealthy and highly influential plantation owner and politician Robert Carter III, reported FOL publicity coordinator Hyte Smith.
