Performing digital symphony with Royal Scottish National Orchestra

Every other Saturday throughout winter and spring 2021, Strings Crewe cello students Daniel Riddell and Linwood Blizzard practiced online with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s (RSNO) community orchestra, All Together Now, led by the Northern Neck Orchestra music director Michael Repper.

They joined musicians from around the world to record and publish a symphony aptly named “Interlaced” by Jay Capperauld. 

Strings Crewe cello instructor Rebecca Young helped the students with fingering and phrasing between online sessions. When they perfected their assigned portions, a Scottish technician….
