Pet loss center opens in Saluda

Family pets bring love and joy to a home—and when they pass on, it touches the heart and soul of those who have traveled together along their journey of life.

River Country Pet Loss and Cremation Center (PLCC), 937 General Puller Highway, Saluda, is a new business designed to provide dignity and compassion in the death of a family pet.

The business is owned by Billy and Gregg Faulkner, whose father, the late Bill Faulkner Sr., owned funeral homes in Mathews, Saluda and Tappahannock. The brothers own the funeral homes currently.
