Mayor Mae Umphlett recently announced that Kilmarnock moved into Phase Two of the governor’s “Forward Virginia” plan on Friday, June 5.
“We are excited to take this “planful” next step as we move to the ‘new normal’ during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Mayor Umphlett.
As part of Phase Two, all parks will open the children’s playground areas; however, this does not include the splash pad at Town Centre Park. The splash pad is still closed with hopes of reopening in the weeks to come.
