Kilmarnock’s first NovemberFest will take place in the downtown area from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, November 22.
The event was created by the Kilmarnock Museum as a way of giving back to town merchants and thanking them for their continuing loyal support over the years, said museum president Carroll Lee Ashburn.
NovemberFest is a one-day shopping event loaded with free entertainment. Participating downtown businesses will offer special sales with a chance for shoppers to win $500 cash, courtesy of Chesapeake Bank. Simply register at participating stores, no purchase is necessary, and it is totally free, said Ashburn.
