‘Quartets for Voice and Strings’ slated April 14

The Northern Neck Orchestra Chamber Music Series will present “Quartets for Voice and Strings,” a showcase of warm, lyrical music by contemporary composers, at 2 p.m. April 14 at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock.

The performance features Plan and Elevation for String Quartet by Caroline Shaw, A Woman’s Song and Advice To a Girl by Anne Cawrse, and The Paper Lined Shack for Voice and String Quartet by Jeff Beal.

Tickets are $35 and may be purchased at the door or www.northernneckorchestra.com. Students are admitted free.

The musicians include Natalie Vatcher, soprano; Moises Cunha, violin; Elizabeth Almond Crute Cunha, violin; Catherine Matushek, viola, and Jake Fowler, cello.
