For November, the RAL Art Center window gallery at 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, will feature travel and people interpretations by two members.
Karen Williams works exclusively in oils and her subjects cover all genres, reported communications team member Ellen Huddy. Her goal is to capture images in a most realistic way, but at the same time making her paintings her own representation.
Williams paints what she “sees,” and may often emphasize the seemingly “mundane,” but that which is something of importance to her and which she wishes to convey to the viewer, said Huddy.
Betty Eddowes also will be exhibiting her works. A watercolor painter, her work is eclectic and includes a variety of subjects and locations developed from her travels and studies, said Huddy. The theme for her window display is “My People…
