Red Devils pound opponents

Lancaster upped its winning streak to eight last week by picking up three wins in varsity baseball.

The Red Devils beat Northampton, King William and Mathews last week to improve to 8-0. They open Northern Neck District play Tuesday, April 12, at Rappahannock.

Sean Thomas and Creston Saunders hit a home run each to lead Lancaster’s hot bats in a 19-1 win over the Yellow Jackets on March 28.

Eli Pittman didn’t give up a hit and struck out two in two innings for the win. Tate Wilmore pitched three innings and retired eight….
