Lancaster’s varsity baseball team picked up two wins in a double header last Friday to remain unbeaten at 4-0 two weeks into the season.
The Red Devils beat West Point, 5-2, and, 4-1.
Sophomore Nick Wohleking went five innings for the win in the first game and junior Matthew Kleinfelter pitched a full game for the second win.
Coaches Welby Saunders and Scotty George have a pitching staff of four, including Kleinfelter, Wohleking, senior Danny Hinson and junior Spencer Crittenden.
“With the arms we have we should be able to keep the games low scoring,” said Saunders. “But the question remains can we get the big hits and make the big plays when we need them.”
