Lancaster High’s Jasmyn Tomlin met the state qualifications in two events at the 1A-2A East Region tournament in Richmond last week to join teammates today, February 23, at the Group 1A-2A state indoor track and field championships at Roanoke College.
The two-day indoor state meet started February 22.
Lancaster qualified competitors in eight events, including three relay races and five individual events.
“Our indoor track team is limited when it comes to quality practices because of our facilities,” said coach Draper Washington.
