Rev. Carolyn W. Fisher on November 27 was installed as pastor of Queen Esther Baptist Church, Mollusk.
Her husband, Rev. Darryl E. Fisher, is pastor of Jerusalem Baptist in Westmoreland County.
This marks the first time in its 125-year history that Queen Esther has had a female pastor and the first time a husband and wife are pastors of different churches in the Northern Neck Baptist Association Inc. and its commissions, reported Gloria Webster-Lee.
