The Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts has, like most performing art organizations, been devastated without live performances for the past year.
Although the Arts For Youth programs have been virtually presented to children through the Lancaster Primary and Middle schools and at Chesapeake Academy, adults have not benefited from such performances. The 2020-21 RFA season was cancelled; however, arrangements have been on-going with performers, agents and venues to reschedule promised shows.
“It is RFA’s hope that in-theater live performances can again be enjoyed by our loyal patrons starting in the fall of 2021,” said president Jamie Tucker. “We’ve been fortunate to offer the make-up dates for the five previously scheduled groups.”
