The Cape Dory Typhoon fleet sponsored by Rappahannock River Yacht Club (RRYC), Irvington, recently completed the spring racing series and the Typhoon East Coast Championship.
The series began April 17 with a racing seminar and dinner followed by “coached” racing on the Rappahannock River April 24 and May 8.
This inaugural event, where an experienced Typhoon racer was paired with a less experienced sailor, was declared a success by those involved, said Ned Crockett.
The series ended May 29 following nine races. Series winners….
