Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against four individuals.
Felony
Khalil Saquan Oates, 23, of Richmond was charged June 7 with two counts of probation violation on felony offenses.
Misdemeanors
A Kilmarnock man, 24, was charged June 9 with intentionally damaging property valued at less that $1,000.
A Lancaster man, 43, was charged June 11 with assault and battery of a family member.
A Gloucester man, 32, was charged June 12 with disorderly conduct.

June 6: Staff responded to Coxs Farm Road and Edmonds Lane for debris in the roadway causing a traffic hazard, to Hoecake and Kelly Neck roads for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to a walk-in report of a stolen sewing machine, to the 300 block of Windmill Point Road for a suspicious person, to the 100 block of Turnberry Court for a missing person, and to the 1300 block of Weems Road for suspicious activity.
June 7: Staff responded to Millenbeck Road for vandalism of an automobile, to Courthouse Road to assist Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) with the pursuit of a vehicle, and to the 500 block of Black Stump Road for a domestic disturbance involving alcohol.
June 8: Staff responded to 1300 block of Weems Road for a noise violation from loud music, to the report of credit card fraud and petit larceny that occurred in the 11000 block of River Road, to the 100 block of Jeffrey Avenue for vandalism, to Devils Bottom and Mary Ball roads for a reckless driver, and to the 100 block of Castle Lane for a possible burglary.
June 9: Staff responded to a walk-in report of intentional damage of personal property that occurred at the 200 block of Riverwood Drive, to the 100 block of John Creek Road for trespassers, to the 500 block of Devils Bottom Road to check the welfare of a resident, to the 100 block of Belle Isle Road for assault, and to the 20300 block of Mary Ball Road for a wanted person.
June 10: Staff responded to the 400 block of North Main Street to assist Kilmarnock Police Department (KPD) with suspicious activity, to the 700 block of Millenbeck Road for a domestic assault, to the Town Centre Park to assist KPD with trespassers, to the 100 block of Carters Creek Road for suspicious activity, to the 100 block of Fish Hawk Drive for juvenile trespassers, to the 100 block of Wiggins Avenue for a noise violation from loud music, and to the 200 block of Lovers Lane for gunshots.
June 11: Staff responded to the 600 block of Chesapeake Drive for a stolen vehicle, to the 1000 block of Nuttsville Road for a suicidal person, to the 600 block of Chesapeake Drive for a larceny and a disorderly person, and to the 100 block of Millenbeck Road for a domestic assault involving alcohol.
June 12: Staff responded to the 2900 block of Northumberland Highway to assist NCSO with shots fired and several individuals injured, to Windmill Point Road and Riverview Drive for suspicious activity, and to Courthouse Road to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in shots fired at an occupied residence on Light Street.
Staff also conducted 26 traffic stops, issued 17 summonses, assisted four motorists, recorded two deer strike accidents, investigated five building alarms, processed a mental health order, received 13 E911 hang-up calls, and fielded a call for animal control service.
Fire calls
The Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire/smoke alarm on Wishing Well Lane; and to a field fire on Monaskon & Granville Bay roads.
