Sheriff’s Report 12-16-21

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported misdemeanor charges against four individuals.

An Irvington man, 41, was charged December 9 with driving while under the influence and refusal of a blood or breath test after being arrested for driving under the influence.

An Irvington woman, 62, was charged December 10 with shoplifting/altering the price of goods valued under $200.

A White Stone man, 34, was charged December 10 with assault, abusive language to another, trespassing on school property and disorderly conduct.

A Kilmarnock man, 21, was charged December 12 with consensual intercourse with a child 15 years of age or older.

December 6: Staff responded to the 8600 block of Courthouse Road for a stolen Glock .40 caliber handgun; to the 100 block of John Creek Road for a missing adult male, and to the 1100 block of Beach Road for a possible prowler.

December 7: Staff responded to the 200 block of Newtown Road for gunshots in the early morning hours, to Mary Ball and Campbell roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the White Stone area of Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver, to the 5300 block of Mary Ball Road for suspicious activity, to the 500 block of Lancaster Creek Drive for a domestic assault, and to the 900 block of James Wharf Road for a verbal disagreement

December 8: Staff responded to the 1300 block of Oak Hill Road for larceny of kitchen items, to a walk-in report of a larceny that occurred in the Kilmarnock area, to the 700 block of James Wharf Road for a vehicle parked in the roadway with the driver appearing to be asleep, to the 8200 block of Mary Ball Road for a domestic assault in progress, to the 11000 block of River Road for a domestic assault, and to the 100 block of Claybrook Avenue to assist Kilmarnock Police Department (KPD) with a sudden death.

December 9: Staff responded to the 100 block of School Street for vandalism, to the 100 block of Churchill Circle for obtaining money by fraud, to the 300 block of Taylors Creek Road to check the welfare of a resident, to Mary Ball and Field Trial roads for an abandoned vehicle, and to the 11600 block of Mary Ball Road to assist emergency medical services with a disorderly patient.

December 10: Staff responded to the Kilmarnock area of Irvington Road for debris in the roadway, to the Chinns Mill area of Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver, and to the 200 block of Old Fairgrounds Way for a shoplifter.

December 11: Staff responded to the 100 block of Levelfields Lane for shooting into a vehicle, to the 100 block of New South Road to assist KPD with a domestic disturbance, to the 300 block of North Main Street for a vehicle crashing into a building, to the 300 block of Carlson Road for suspicious activity, to the 1400 block of Irvington Road for threats to harm another, to the 100 block of Miskimon Road for gun shots in the late evening hours, and to the 2900 block of Lara Road for gun shots in the late evening hours.

December 12: Staff responded to the 1200 block of Crawfords Corner Road for a trespasser, to the 8900 block of River Road for several gun shots in the early morning hours, to River and Morattico roads for an abandoned vehicle, and to the 100 block of Irvington Road for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Staff also conducted nine traffic stops, issued three summonses, assisted a motorist, recorded three deer strike accidents, handled 11 calls for traffic control, investigated five building alarms, logged an inmate transport, received 16 E911 hang-up calls, and fielded six calls for animal control.

Fire call

White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to Crockett’s Landing for a fuel spill.
