RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, will host an adult paint workshop, Folk Art Painting Grandma Moses, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. August 17.
The workshop is for the beginner or experimental artist, reported instructor Marilyn Sprouse.
“Your event or memory is what is important, not a perfect painting,” said Sprouse. “Your work will be what you choose in the season you choose. Due to the amount of detail, canvas size will be smaller so it may be finished in the time allotted.”
The $35 fee, $30 for members, will include all materials. Bring a beverage of choice.
