Registration is now open for “Summer on the River” camp at St. Margaret’s School in Tappahannock.
Open to boys and girls ages 10-15, the camp will be led by S.T.R.E.A.M. director Richard Moncure. S.T.R.E.A.M. is the school’s one-of-a-kind curriculum that integrates the nearby Rappahannock River and natural surroundings with science, technology, engineering, arts and math learning.
Campers will ‘learn by doing’ with action-packed days filled with research and plenty of fun, reported media contact Elizabeth Post. A typical day might include pulling crab pots, identifying river species, sailing, riding jet skis and swimming.
Families can sign up for any of the four weekly sessions….
