Sonabank donates $5,000 to Lancaster Virginia Historical Society library project

Ammon G. Dunton Jr., chairman of the capital campaign to create a new history and genealogy research library for the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society, recently reported that Sonabank donated $5,000 to the campaign in 2019-2020.

“We are pleased to support important initiatives to strengthen the cultural vibrancy of the areas we serve, and producing a new library specializing in local history and family records stretching back to 1651 is an ideal use of these charitable funds,” said Sonabank senior vice president Patricia Gallagher.
