Participants in the 20th annual Irvington Turkey Trot will be eligible for prizes provided by Irvington businesses. A drawing will take place after the morning run/walk/jog on Thursday, November 28, and entrants whose numbers are selected could be lucky winners.
Prizes include a 90-minute boat ride on a Duffy with Capt. Gene Edmonds, courtesy of the Tides Inn and Capt. Edmonds; a complimentary wine tasting from Vine Wine and Tapas Bar; two individual 18-hole rounds of golf at the Golden Eagle Golf Course; a $25 gift certificate to Dredge Restaurant and an assortment of hats and tees from The Local and Jimmy and Sook.
“The race has happened every Thanksgiving morning since 1999,” said race director Michelle Lybarger. “We wanted to offer some additional goodies in celebration of this 20-year milestone.”
