The Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron will offer Using GPS at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at the NNSPS Classroom at Chesapeake Commons, 453C North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
This seminar explains the principles of waypoint navigation and shows how to relate the GPS to charts, reported Ray Reuter. The seminar also shows how to operate a GPS—what the buttons do, what the screens show, and how to access functions.
Tips also will be offered for how to choose a GPS, said Reuter.
