Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital recently announced Voncia Walters has been named the first honoree of the RGH BEE Award.
The BEE (Beyond Exceptional Expectations) Award was created to recognize team members outside of nursing for going above and beyond to care for patients, visitors and colleagues, reported Joanna Marchetti, project coordinator, administration. This award is meant to complement the internationally known DAISY Award program for nursing because just as the DAISY cannot bloom without the support of the BEE, nurses cannot do their best work without the outstanding teamwork provided by other healthcare professionals on their team.
