Folks often take for granted the ability to turn on the tap and get all of the fresh water they need. For a few hours every year, locals get an idea of what villagers in Tanzania face everyday in their struggle for water.
On Saturday, volunteers walked some 3.5 miles from Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock to Chesapeake Boat Basin and back, collecting water in buckets and transporting it to a filtration system similar to those being built by Water Mission.
