White Stone council prepares for holidays

WHITE STONE— The White Stone Town Council on Thursday, October 7, passed two action items related to upcoming holidays.

Council voted unanimously, 5-0, to spend up to the budgeted amount of $3,500 to purchase holiday decorations for the Village Green on Rappahannock Drive.

Decorations, flags and banners committee chairman AnnGardner Eubank suggested at the September meeting purchasing standing, lighted decorations to place in the green around the town Christmas tree.
