WHITE STONE—The White Stone Town Council voted unanimously last Thursday to accept a first draft of its proposed 2019 budget. A related public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. June 7 at Town Hall, 433 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone.
Town manager Patrick Frere presented the proposed $163,590 budget, $1,860 more than the current budget.
“I tried to keep it as close to this year’s budget as possible,” said Frere. “Even with a few increases, we were able to eliminate some other [expenditures].”
