WHITE STONE—White Stone will begin collecting payment for its town vehicle tags in late March.
Town council on Thursday, March 7, unanimously agreed to sell the tags from March 25-29 and April 1-5. Tags can be purchased from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Town Office, 433 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone. The annual fee is $25 for cars and trucks and $20 for motorcycles.
Also during last week’s meeting, Susan Tempest told council the 2025 Historic Garden Week tour in the Northern Neck will feature properties in the White Stone area. She asked council to apply for a grant of up to $4,000 from the Garden Club of the Northern Neck to beautify portions of the town.
