Amanti Starks, who helped lead Northumberland to the Region 1A tournament championship and a runner-up trophy in the 2024-25 Class 1 state golf tournament, has committed to continue his education and play golf at Jackson State University.
Starks signed a letter of intent to the historically black research university in Jackson, Miss., on February 25 in the Northumberland High School auditorium with family, friends and coaches in attendance.
