RICHMOND—Betty L. Frank, 74, of Richmond passed away on September 9, 2022, with her family by her side.
Betty is survived by her brother, Donald Ray Bareford; her long time love, Wayne Hopkins; his son, Jason Hopkins; her daughters, Yvette Wolfe (Ken) and Lauren Boyd; her grandchildren, Ian, Ellen, Campbell and Charlotte; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ryland and Dorothy Bareford; her brothers, Arnold Bareford and Walter Bareford; and her nephew, Kevin Bareford.
Betty was instantly loved by anyone that met her. She had an infectious laugh, an undeniable sparkle in her eyes, and a light that could outshine the sun. She was the epitome of strength and courage through her entire life and was such an inspiration to her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Hermitage Country Club, 1248 Hermitage Road, Manakin-Sabot, VA 23103 on Sunday, September 25, in The Williamsburg Room. We ask that you please join us anytime between 3-6 p.m. for a celebratory event to honor our love for Betty.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VCU Massey Cancer Center or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN) in honor of Betty Frank (a donation box will also be available at the Celebration of Life).
