Cornwell steps up to interim Commissioner of the Revenue

Elizabeth W. Cornwell has been appointed interim Commissioner of the Revenue for Lancaster County effective February 1.  In her 29 years with the office, Cornwell has served as deputy, master deputy and master chief deputy. She is looking forward to continuing to serve the taxpayers of Lancaster County, said Cornwell. From left, Lancaster County Clerk of the Circuit Court Diane H. Mumford administers the oath of office to Cornwell. She replaces Marlon Savoy who retired after working with the county for 46 years. A special election will be held in November for the term beginning January 1, 2026.
