The Mathews VA250 Committee, along with the Mathews Bay School Community Arts Center, recently announced a competition to design two LOVEworks signs. Proposals and bids are due by January 25.
The initial award to construct the signs was announced in November and the committee is seeking artists to submit their proposals for signs at the former Oyster Seed Holdings, now The Hatchery, on Gwynn’s Island, and also at Williams Wharf, now a recreation area with kayaking and rowing.
