The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) will hold a Fall Soup Sale fundraiser with Lancaster stew, bean and ham soup, and chicken noodle soup by the quart for $12 each.
Pre-orders are required by November 1 and pick-up will be from noon-3 p.m. November 14 at LVHS, 8346 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster. People can also sponsor “quarts for the community” for a $12 donation and LVHS will distribute soup to first responders and homebound senior citizens.
The sale will take the place of the organization’s annual November Oyster Roast, which is canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
