The Fall Genealogy Class Series presented by the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) will open at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 2. at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
The first program, “Avoiding Pitfalls—Do It Right the First Time,” taught by professional genealogist Sharon Hodges, is open to the public. The fee is $25 for members and $30 for others. The deadline to register is 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, at LancasterVaHistory or 462-7280.
