HENRICO—Helen Abbott Trigor, 85, of Henrico, formerly of Weems, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 12, 2025.
Born on April 24, 1940, Helen was the daughter of Evans and Hettie Estelle Abbott. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Eugene, Lavinia and Hettie.
Helen shared 57 loving years of marriage with her husband, Bernard Trigor. Together they raised a family that brought them great joy.
She is survived by her children, Shawn Trigor (Michele) and Lisa Baker (Walter); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Grayson Baker and Andrew Trigor.
In her early years, Helen worked at The Tides Inn, Irvington. Later, she and Bernard settled in Richmond to raise their family. Known affectionately by many as “Momma Helen,” she had a deep passion for caring for others. Her nurturing spirit left a lasting impression on those around her.
A private Celebration of Life will be held.
